Happy Birthday To Me!!

Hello My Lovelies,
Warning this post is photo heavy....

It was my big 30th birthday on Sunday!

I spent the weekend at my sisters and thought I'd treat myself and travel 1st class on the train which is something I have never done before, it was so nice as it was a Friday evening and all the carriages were crazy busy except for 1st class which was nice and chilled-I'm definitely going to do it again.

My wonderful spacious seat with complimentary cans of coke and crisps.

On Saturday we went to Bicester Village, I looked at the Mulberry shop (my fav!) and also all the usuals Cath Kidston, Cosmetics Company, Kate Spade and I found nothing I like what so ever-my purse let out a huge 'thank god!' The weather was beautiful so we spent some time drinking a Starbucks and watched the world go by...

On Sunday we went and did some more shopping and had a meal and I was given some wonderful gifts, totally spoilt by everyone!

I was so excited and not at all expecting this 1st present that my amazing little sister bought for me!!!

Again from my sister, all of these presents have significance!

On Monday I took a big box of doughnuts into work and I was given a Boots voucher and a mug/coaster set by the team I work with!

I had such a great weekend I can't actually believe that I'm now in my 30's, it only seems like yesterday that I was celebrating my 21st at university-time really does fly!

Till next time,

2nd Wish List of 2013.

Hello My Lovelies,

I haven't written a wish list in a while so thought I'd add a few more things I'd love to purchase this year....if only money grew on trees!!

Firstly.....

Orca Bay Deck Shoes- To be honest I would love any of the colours but I think my favourite is the pink. Last summer I bought some Sebago Bala's (the ones Kate Middleton wears) and they were really nice and I'll be wearing them again this year but I thought these were just super cute and I wantttttt them!

Next up.... Real Techniques limited edition brushes.

There's not much to say really other than I love the current brushes.

Next thing I would love to buy is..... Navy Converse.

I already have Converse in white and I've just bought a soft pink pair but I really want a navy pair to add to my collection.

And finally on my 2nd wish list of 2013 is.....Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation.

I've heard really great things about this foundation and I would love to add it to my collection of favourite foundations.

Have you got any of the above products are they worth all the hype?

Till next time,
                   Tori.

Belfast- The Highs & Lows.

Hello My Lovelies,
I went to Belfast about 2 months ago (time flies!) and I when I got back I was meaning to do a Highs & Lows review of Belfast but work and life got in the way and I've only really just had time to do it now. I'm hoping to do some more of these in the future for other places I've been too.

Highs of Belfast:

My first high was the chance to go to the Giants Causeway and surrounding areas. I've always wanted to go to Causeway so this was a lovely place to visit even though it was a little crowded-I think I would want to go early in the morning or as the sun is setting next time. You can either walk down the hill to the stones or take a bus for a small fee, I chose to walk down but take the bus back up! You can walk across the stones as far as you like and there are members of staff that watch out for you whilst your down at the Causeway.

My second high is the Belfast Titanic Museum.

The museum ultra modern and is a great place for all ages. Basically you go to the top of the museum which is made to look like the Titanic and you work your way down, as you work your way down you find out about how the Titanic was built, by whom, you get to see those who sailed on her, different style accommodations that were available- this is just to name but a few of the things you learn. There is also an excellent ride that you can go on which shows you how the Titanic was built. After we had spent a good few hours here we went outside to see where the Titanic was first launched and that was a really great experience!

Where Titanic was first launched.

Third high make sure you go for a meal in the restaurant 'Made in Belfast' such a unique place- drink from jam jars, food that comes on shabby chic plates and cocktails for £3!

Belfast Lows:

The city it's self isn't really my cup of tea, I thought I was going to love it but I much prefer a UK city like Cardiff or Oxford..... It was also super cold so that put a dampener on things. Also as I do in most cities that I visit I went on the hop on hop off tour and it wasn't nearly as great as some I've been on. On previous tours they encourage you to get off and explore and then there's always the opportunity to jump back on a bus as they are so frequent, well the companies running in Belfast don't tend to have many if any busses lined up behind ready for you to hop back on to. So you have to sit on the bus for 2 hours listening to a guide go on and on and on and take pictures as you whizz by (not my idea of fun!!) Below are some of the pictures I took from the bus.

Would I return to Belfast? I might return in the summer to experience it in a different season but I don't think it will be a place I return to in the near future mainly as I have so many other cities/countries I want to visit!

I hope you've all like my little round up of Belfast, have any of you been and what did you think? Leave me a comment below....

Till next time,

My new favourite product!

Hello my lovelies,
Today I want to tell you about my new favourite product.....
The Seventeen doll'd up mascara! I have always had issues finding my holy grail mascara, I've tried loads and none have ever been the 'One' but this mascara which I would never have even considered trying if it hadn't been for a Boots voucher coming through my door might just be it!! Boots sent me a buy the doll'd up mascara for £2 instead of the usual £6.29 and seeing as I'm always looking for a new mascara I jumped at the chance to get it at such a great bargain.
Seventeen say the following "Create the show stopping eye drama this season with SEVENTEEN’S NEW ‘doll’d Up’ mascara. With special lash lifting 24hour curl & volume benefits and an anti-clump brush, you can make sure that your lashes stay firmly in the limelight.
As you can see from my picture of the brush it has a nice long brush and no way of clumping on the actual end that you apply the product (I hate clumping!) which is what my Lancôme hypnose drama mascara did. I bought this mascara in brown, I've always bought black but I think on my fair complexion it looks much nicer.

If you haven't already bought the Seventeen doll'd up mascara why don't you give it a whirl I don't think you'll be disappointed!
Have you got a holy grail mascara I'd love to know which one, leave me a comment below!

Till next time,

Mixed Haul

Hello My Lovelies,
Today I decided to go into town and do a bit of shopping, the stuff I picked up was too cute not to share with you, Enjoy!

Marks & Spencer Neapolitan cookies from their Great British Summer range-I saw these on Instagram and knew the next time I was in M&S I would have to pick some up. They also had another flavour but at £1.99 for a pack I couldn't justify buying them both.

New Look shoes in a super cute owl print they are so comfy and will be great for when the better weather comes. They were £7.99 a pair or £10.00 for two pairs-so my mum and I both got a pair.

Boots now sell Sinful Colors nail polishes at a bargain £1.99 each and they were on the 3 for 2 deal-these polishes remind me of the China Glaze, very thick and only need 1 coat! I picked up the colours   social ladder and pink forever and then I also picked up Maybelline's latte (which will be perfect for my best friends wedding this summer. I think I might go back later in the week and have another look at the Sinful Colors range as they are just so nice.

I hope you are all well and if you've been shopping recently let me know what you've bought!

Till next time,
              Tori.
