Mini Primark Haul & a few other bits...

Hello My Lovelies,

This past weekend I went and visited my sister in Oxford we went for some lovely meals out and went to see 'The Wolf of Wall Street' and we obviously did a little bit of shopping, so here's what I bought!

My sister has been using the Argan Oil shampoo and conditioner for a while and had only great things to say about it, at only £1 each I decided to give them a whirl!

Look how cute these Bambi slipper socks are, they even have the cutest little tails! They were £4 bargain from Primark.

This black quilted bag looks way more than its £4 price tag and I thought will look great with my outfit for the Taylor Swift concert I'm going to in early February. (Also from Primark)

I already have a pair of these socks in a different design and love them, so when I saw these colours I grabbed them. Another bargain at £1.50 a pair from Primark!

And finally I picked up the NYC Smooth Skin Perfecting Primer for £2.50 from Superdrug. All NYC makeup is under £2.50 till January 21st, so decided that I would give it a try as I've never tried any NYC makeup or a primer...review to come!

Till next time,
                    Tori.

This Works...Deep Sleep Pillow Talk Spray Review!

Hello My Lovelies,

This post is a little review all about the This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Talk Spray and the Deep Sleep Stress Less Roller Ball. I bought the set in the January sales from the This Works website for £16 after seeing it in Boots for the past few months and really wanting to try it.

I'm not one of these very lucky people that the minute they put their head on the pillow they pass out...this rarely happens for me so anything that can help is a massive bonus!
The instructions on the box says "Spray your pillow or bed cover before you to go sleep. Use to promote rest and relaxation" I usually spray my pillow and a few spritz in my room about 15 to 30 minutes before bed so that I can start to relax and so that the spray has a chance to sink into my pillow.

The scent is mainly lavender and reminds me of spa days that I've had in the past, personally I'm not the greatest fan of lavender but it's not too bad once it's settled. On a good night the This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Talk Spray is a nice addition to my going to bed routine and does help me relax, I'm how ever not 100% sure it really helps me go to sleep!
The Deep Sleep Stress Less Roller Ball is an oil that you can put on your wrists or inhale on a tissue. I like to put it on my wrists just before I leave for work and I love it! It's again a lavender scent and helps to calm and soothe and I find it does help to chill me out before I go into my work place. The scent doesn't last all day but is great for first thing in the morning which is when I find I need it the most anyway.
I'm definatley going to repurchase the Deep Sleep Stress Less roller ball as I want to put one in my handbag so I can dab it at different points of the day, as for the Deep Sleep Pillow Spray I'm going to stick with it but I don't think I'll repurchase it.

Have you tried any of the This Works products and if so which ones? I really want to try the Deep Sleep shower gel!!

Till next time,
                    Tori.

Mini Haul!

Hello My Lovelies,

I've not written a haul post in what seems ages so I decided that I'd share with you a few things I bought last weekend.

First up Match Perfection Foundation from Rimmel- I've been wanting to try this foundation for a while so decided to buy it whilst I had a Boots double points voucher.

I went into The Body Shop a few weeks ago and picked up some sale items but decided they were just too good a bargain so I had to go back and pick up a couple more of the body washes and they were only £2.99 each!

Then I went into Clinton Cards and saw that all the Christmas Yankee Candles were on a 50% off sale so I picked up two of the small candles and they were ones that I hadn't bought over Christmas, I've also decided to put them away for next year.

I finally went into Marks and Spencer's and spent my Christmas vouchers on items that I haven't actually taken pictures of, but I got some black work trousers (snooze!) and a pretty top and some new pillows for my bed as mine were becoming uncomfortable.

Have you been out shopping recently or are you all still on a spending ban? Let me know!!

Till next time,
                   Tori.

1st Wish List of 2014!

Hello My Lovelies!

Well I know a lot of you are on spending bans and I'm really trying not to overspend myself but I wanted to share with you a few things I have my eye on purchasing at some point in 2014!

Chanel Lipstick and a Mac Lipstick...I've decided I'm going to save my boots points which is really hard for me and then go and buy myself a Chanel lipstick with them. Maybe I'll pick up a Mac one when Debenhams or House of Fraser do a 10% off weekend or I'll ask for it for my birthday!

All images from Google.

Kurt Geiger shoes/boots... They are all gorgeous and I could easily choose about five or more pairs.

LongChamp travel bag... I picked up the small shoulder bag in a beautiful purple colour in the January sales and it had also been on one of my wish lists of 2013 so when I saw it for £30 I knew I had to have it. Now I'm lusting after a travel bag!

Ugg boots... I did look in the sale but every shop I went into was crazy and I didn't have a chance to try them for size, if I buy these it probably won't be until the end of 2014.

As always not the cheapest of tastes but having these things on my wish list makes me want to save so that I can afford to splurge on these lovely treats!

Have you got any wish lists put them in the comment box and I'll check them out.

Till next time,
                     Tori.

Beauty Products I've LOVED in 2013!

Hello My Lovelies,

2013 has been a great beauty year I've tried out some products and brands that I've never tried before and some of them I've come to love here are my favourites!

Nars Sheer Glow Foundation- I only started using this a month ago but it's now my ultimate foundation.

Sally Hansen nail polishes in Pennies For Heaven and Commander In Chic these two nail polishes are ones that I keep coming back too as they are such brilliant quality, they can last without chipping for about 5 days. They don't stock them where I live so I can't wait to visit my sister in Oxford next so I can pick up some more colours.

La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo- I use this every day and night instead of moisturiser, since I started using it I've noticed a difference in my skin.

Sigma Beauty Brushes- As you all will know I bought these on Black Friday because they were offering free delivery and I think they are just amazing- the application of my bronzer/blush and eyeshadow is effortless and I'm so impressed I'm going to make another order in the new year.

Body Shop Vanilla and Coconut body mists/sprays- They have such a lovely smell that lasts all day. I also love the packaging...they come in glass bottles, which is rare! The price is also pretty amazing (especially if you can get them on a 50% off day)

Soap & Glory Sugar Crush body wash- Amazing scent and the bottle lasts forever..... What more can I say?

What have been your favourite products of 2013? Here's to all the new beauty products in 2014!

Till next time,

Bye Bye 2013 and Welcome 2014!

Hello My Lovelies and Happy New Year!!

    (Image from Google)

I don't like to make new year resolutions as I never stick to them and then you feel bad etc etc etc. How ever in 2014 there are some things I would love to do, so here they are.

Visit my old uni friend in York and take a day trip to Blackpool (I've never been and really want to go up the tower!)

Buy a Chanel and a Mac Lipstick (not sure what colour yet, so if you have any recommendations then please let me know!)

Stress less ( I can't guarantee this one as I do it a LOT!!)

Spend less (Again I can't guarantee this one as I like to shop and I want to buy a Chanel lipstick, hardly saving is it!!)

Look at new job opportunities.

Read more ( I use to read loads but I've stopped reading as much the past 6 months)

Look at possibly going on holiday, some where hot to see New Year 2015 in (so expensive so will depend on if I can get a bargain)

Blog more and go to some blogger meet ups!

And finally to have no regrets!! :-)

Have you got any plans for 2014? I would love to hear them so leave me a comment and a link to your blog!!

Till next time,
                   Tori.
